According to gaming blog Kotaku, Sony has decided to take down Amplitude’s online servers permanently, effective Monday, Februrary 26. The motivation behind the decision is unknown, but it’s likely that Sony is just clearing out old content from it’s servers to make room for newer things.

The servers, however won’t be going down without a bang, as the Harmonix crew is also planning to hold a makeshift Irish funeral for the game by having as many Harmonix staff members online on it’s last day of operation on Sunday, Februrary 25. So, if you own a copy of the game and want to get one last online game in against the Harmonix crew, Sunday’s the day to do it.
