Today, Hachima Kikou shed some light on a few details on the recently announced Project Diva title, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X which will arrive sometime in March for PS Vita in Japan.  In addition to the free play mode SEGA is introducing a new mode called “Live Quest mode”.  In Live Quest Mode, players can accept certain quests made available through bulletins posted among the five areas of the game. You’ll top off the gauge with the better you score in your songs as Miku and her friends get stronger.

You’ll clear quests when your “Voltage” meter is raised to an automated amount. The most certainly famous “Diva Room” that has appeared in past games will act as a base for this mode. There are also conversations that occur between characters after you complete quests.

A new note called “Rush Notes” are now featured in the new game. During the game, when the word “Rush” is displayed on the play screen, you can repeatedly press the corresponding button within the time for a higher score. While costumes are usually purchased using the in-game Diva Points currency, there is also a new “Module Drop” feature. You can gain more Modules by clearing quest conditions and landing all “Chance Time” opportunities. The modules you obtain are random, but specific modules tend to drop based on the quest.
