Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will Release in Two Versions for PS4 Later This Year

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone for PlayStation 4 will release in two versions when it launches on the PlayStation Store in Japan later this year, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

  • Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone – Future Sound will include 120 songs mainly from the Hatsune Miku: Project Diva home console series.
  • Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone – Colorful Tone will include 100 songs mainly from the arcade game and 3DS Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai series.

The game will thankfully run in 1080p at 60 frames per second and both packs together will include 220 songs and 340 modules. Players can customize up to six characters that can appear in the music videos as well. Additionally, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone will be the first game in the series that offers key configuration allowing players to even set one button to trigger multiple presses.

No word on price yet, but a quote from Sega reads, “Please be assured that the cost will be a bargain price.” Does this mean roughly 3,500yen like most bargain games in Japan? Stay tuned!
