Parappa The Rapper Gets New Animated Short Series in Japan


Earlier today, Fuji TV announced that the network will air a new series of anime shorts based on the Parappa the Rapper video game franchise that we all love so much. The new anime is titled PJ Berri no Mogu Mogu Munya Munya, and it revolves around the greatest Dj to ever hit television, PJ Berri. A pilot episode will premiere on the late-night variety program #Hi Poul on August 18, before becoming a regular series later this October. Each episode will be roughly 96 seconds long and will feature a solid cast of characters found in the original game. The anime comes to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first game!
