The Sandwich topic. I am currently on a quest to find unique sandwichs that can be made at home for little money.
In this topic, we are to discuss our favorite sandwiches, preparation methods, and ingredients/brands of choice.
Here's what I've done for the past week: Two slices of Rye bread, drop French's yellow mustard in droplets all over, then sprinkle with shredded colby-jack and/or mozzerella cheese. Microwave for 10-20 seconds (basically, you're trying to melt the cheese and warm the bread). Shred up the Pastrami, sprinkle on as necessary, and put the breads together for a sandwich.
Very tasty, but I grow bored of this formula and I am running out of Pastrami. So a new sandwich is in order.
