I was just typing up some info for you and my browser decided to randomly crash so I lost what I typed. Hopefully I can remember everything and type it again.

Why not just make a difficulty bar like the latest versions but remove the double tap up and down shortcut from the metric file for increasing and decreasing the difficulty on the select music screen?
- Feet are shown under the difficulty images on the difficulty select screen.
- The preview music for a song continues playing while selecting the difficulty rather like the modifier screen.
Wonderful news Takuya! Browsing just now I found this video (with horrible foreign commentary but still very useful). I was wrong about a few things regarding the select music screen but now you can see Megamix in action for yourself.
