Default Energizing Foods

A year ago I was able to down 3/4 of an extra large pizza from Papa John's, some chips, and some juice, all in one half-hour sitting. That's a lot of food for a 5' 9" guy who weighs 120 pounds (with a regular stomach size, I might add).

These days, I cannot. This is because in the past couple months I haven't been eating as much per meal. You see, my brother lacks food in his apartment, or at least noticeable food since it's mostly ingredients. I spent a lot of time at his apartment in the summer time, so naturally I didn't eat as much. My stomach cannot handle large amounts of food anymore. I am left with two choices:

1. Eat food more often and bring myself back to my impressive mansion of a stomach and irritate my (larger) friends.

2. Eat foods that provide energy.

I have school everyday with an hour and a half break in between two of my classes. This is a good time to eat something small. Then I have an hour before work, to which I ride a bike. 4 hours of walking later, I bike back home. What I need is food that can provide me with a decent amount of energy. I find myself buying orange soda before work so I'll have this energy. I obviously need to change my eating habits to conform to the smaller amounts I can hold. More fruits and veggies?

This past weekend I ate out twice. I was unable to finish both meals (I ate around half, the total cost was around $25). I've been putting too much food in bowls and meals! I'm not used to this yet.

So, any pointers?
