What BlueSS said. After some of the stupidity that happened during this competition, I am not running another in the short term - especially not given I'm in college now (which is why I didn't do the final round) and I'm by fiat the dude in charge of the next project since BlueSS has stated that he's leaving the competition.

I'm favoring 'multiple people per file' with the primary intent of getting more consistent graphics and further removing the competitive aspect. However, allowing one person to do multiple (though not necessarily all) stepcharts in one file would be okay, unlike vV, and collaboration (including 'clean-ups') would be encouraged, so the group for a song would be encouraged to start up a quick chat and get a loose consensus on difficulty levels. (Alternatively, we could set a rule of 'do all Heavy charts first, then STandard and Expert, then Light and Keyboard').

Songs used would be selected [i]in advance[i], mixing a small team of 3-4 people making their votes, and everyone else being able to request songs they want to see done (however, requests to do songs would not guaranteed result in your claiming that song or any part of it), outside requests being considered a major factor in the team's final selection. This selection would obviously increase with more volunteers.

I'm not sure on the difficulty names, though dedicating the 'easy' difficulty to freestyle-friendly basic steps (plenty of just plain easy stuff freestyles great though - Boom Boom Dollar for the win) targets the results to a more hardcore audience - which is kind of the OSC audience anyhow. I definately want original names.
