What nationality is she? In the middle east they practice "female circumsition" which is essentially cutting off portions of the woman's gentalia. It is pure tradition based and there is no medical basis behind it. It is sad its terrible and yet it happens. Is she a victim of one of those practices?

Well regardless of what has happened to her in the past or if you plan to get with her or not, at the very least you should be supportive of her and help her cope through her difficult times. If she needs a shoulder to cry on be there for her regardless. She trusts you obviously otherwise she wouldn't have told you about that.
