To be fair, BMUS did kinda suck...?
Look at it through the eyes of a casual mainstream gamer? Are they going to want GH's music, or random japanese songs that no one has ever heard of, except people who like bemani? Not to mention the game looks like crap, and the songlist is crap.
Also, PPP does have "gay" music, and it would make any insecure person self concious. (Why the hell did they bother to review a Japanese Import Only Game, and then make fun of how it would be to an American audience?... ) That almost is rascist making fun of another person dialect, but thats the only thing that bothered me.
Seriously, from the eyes of a mainstream gamer, all their points are valid. From someone who actually cares about bemani and other music games besides GH, I can see why your pissed, but realistically, no one cares. Not even hardcore Dance nuts at the arcades. Most haven't even heard about IIDX or PPP and thats about the only bemani representation in America.
The show exists to sell itself. Nothing more, Nothing Less. They have a target audience and real gamers aren't it. I don't see why some shitty TV show has everyone pissed off. |
