Yes. Raikou_Rider created a pad edit of "My Spirit Will Go On" (

http://www.bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=6314). Sure, pad edits are pretty rare for metal songs (especially DragonForce; the only exception to this generalization is Machinae Supremacy - there are more pad edits than keyboard-only edits, mainly due to DCR's simfiles) but they do exist.
