I almost dread the next-gen movement. How are we going to play the new Bemani games with our fancy controllers when the shift comes?

All kidding aside, I'm gonna personally hold off on the PS3-- if I get it at all. Give it 2~3 years for the price to drop significantly and cash in on the then-classics!

Xbox 360 is another hold-off. There's only one game I'm willing to get right now (Dead Rising), and it's not worth the initial system cost. Maybe once enough hits roll in, I might bite. It's too bad there aren't enough compatible games from the Xbox1.

Wii got me with Zelda. That and SMB:Brawl. I figure with the (hopefully) trade-in deals I'll trade my GC in and upgrade for cheap. It's kinda like the hook that had me buy the PS2 way back [Spiffier PS1 + DVD player + extras = WIN].

Also, I know about the Metal Slug Anthology on the Wii (and PSP, but I'm not buying that...) and I hope it works with the Classic Controller. It'd almost work with the Wiimote part tilted sideways, except for the need for 3 buttons [4 with MS6]. I also hope it's a good compilation port. And not too expensive. $40 sounds good.
