It was a dark, dark night. The sudden sound of thunder awakend me from my sleep.
Half-awake, I sat up on my bed, my feet searching for my house shoes.
My left foot slipped into it's respectful shoe, leaving my right foot rubbing the hard wood.
And it was like that for a while before I looked down and realized my right shoe was missing!
(Du-duh-DUUUUNN!!!)
Before I could act, the phone rang... I carefully moved towards the telephone, picked it up,
and waited for a voice on the other side.
