Don't worry. Opinion has nothing against the chances of you becoming a judge as long as you vividly state why you believe the song deserves the rating (also, don't rate too closely to ITG standards when reviewing DDR simfiles). Just look at some of the other ratings handed out by other judges. If you know about DDR OSC 4's second DDR Bracket, NekoIncardine rated
Chocolate Philosophy (it didn't even come that close to making finals) as the best in the division, while giving Yellow Butterfly, which tied for 2nd in the finals, only a 68. But hey, at least he gave a detailed review for both songs to explain his opinion.
Go ahead, try to apply. You're exceptional at ITG and you're a fantastic step designer, so I'd greatly trust your "opinions".
