This is what I see - on top - on my first visit to Forum Boredom in months.
God damn it, why can't I be this insane when tired? The best I hit on was a Carlinesque observation on Sex Change operations.
So that no one asks, here it is (OH SHIT DERAIL???).
Okay, so, I was reading a Wikipedia article on transgender people, because I know a male-to-female transgender. Now, sex change operations change secondary sex characteristics and/or primary sex characteristics. We can safely ignore the secondary sex characteristics for the purposes of this tangent.
For those unaware, the primary sex characteristics are, to put it politely, the parts. In particular, those parts which occupy your crotchal region. Look down. If it's long and out, you're probably male. If not, you're probably female.
Male-to-female transgenders want it in. Female-to-male transgenders want it out. Any questions so far?
Now, here's the observation. The testicles, a male primary sex characteristic that is presumably removed during male-to-female sex change operations, are also the most sensitive point on the male body. So cutting them off must hurt like a motherfucker - presumably enough that lots of anasthetic is required. Enough that I'm betting that the new woman's going to be pretty fucked up when they wake up.
Now, I wonder, when they wake up and they're all like 'mrrrrrrrh', I wonder if they attribute the strangeness they are feeling to being (much closer to) a woman now, or the anasthetic.
It's thoughts like these that would make me a very bad doctor.
