Exclamation Help: Requesting Lessons From The "Masters" [Tiger]

Hello my dear community. Long time no see. ^~

It's hard to believe that I have not been part of the thriving Bemanistyle community for more than half a year now. *Breath of fresh "Scartlet Cyberspace background* *Sniff* "Ah... it feels good to be back."

I am posting this thread because one of my friends told me about a the "Legendary Masters" of Dance Dance Revolution on this website. She mentioned DJ Paranoia and how he stated he is able to get "AA" songs on Healing Vision (Angelic Mix) on Heavy. Wow!

This sounds like the place I need to be.

Okay. Here's my problem

I am an okay DDR player. I'm not too bad at singles ("Bs" on Max 300 [Heavy], "Cs" on "The Legend of Max [Heavy], and "Ds" on Paranoia Survivor Max [Challenge]).

I have just recently begun doubles after three years of playing DDR, and I just passed Love Shine on the 8 Foot Doubles [all this time, I didn't know that the levels for the steps changed on doubles! I've been living in the DARK! "Genom Screams" is a... Doubles 10?! I thought it was an 8... ]

I need help with one type of step on Doubles--it's those damn "turns" (I guess that's what they are).

The arrows are "Left, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right." You know. Like the ones in "Break Down" on Singles, but only they go ALL the way across the board. I can "1-leg" it (hop across the last set of 3 arrows on one leg--almost breaking it in the process. In fact, my leg still hurts right now and my ankle feels...out of place...ow *Cry*)

Do I have to turn my back to the screen and spin with these types of arrows?

I tried it, but I almost fell off the damn pad.

For this very reason, I can do most of the 7-Foot heavy Doubles, but cannot complete "Dive Into The Night."

I feel quite embarressed because I know I can do better than fail a 7-foot double after playing a set of 3 ten foot songs on singles.

Of course, I now do realize that Doubles is virtually a different game (not Dance Dance Revolution, rather, Dance Dance Dance Dance Revolution Revolution [DDDDRR]).

Can anyone help me out on this?

If not, that's cool too.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Later.

-Tiger
