I think the cake you're referencing is called Angel Food Cake. I have a love/hate relationship with that stuff. The chocolate stuff is Devil's Food Cake.
My favorite cake has to be homemade black forest cake. Second favorite... probably homemade mint chocolate creme cake. Other people swear my cheesecakes are really good, but I don't like or eat cheesecake...
