Whenever I spot those sorts of topics in OG (and when I had powers in the other boards) I close them and move them to the graveyard. Editing them really doesn't serve a whole lot of purpose; most people don't poke around in that portion of the boards, and if they do and somehow arrive at the conclusion that the offers in a locked topic in the garbage portion of the forums are legitimate they deserve to be parted from their money. Maybe another staff member would feel differently but it doesn't seem worth the trouble to me.
