From what i can tell.. you have to lift off the keys and sort of restart your picking.. or you will just keep getting poors.. for example, in a fast picking section, if i get 1 poor on a change from say R to GB, and then it continues GB GB GB GB GB, if i just keep picking and holding down GB, all the successive notes will be poor..
