On top of everything, can I just say that I am thoroughly de-motivated to actually finish my judging at the moment as well, as although the judges are encouraged to review the files in the frame for DQ, what does it matter if we don't actually grade them fully?
I would rather all entries were eligible to win, and thus all reviews and scoresets that judges are taking so long to put together are put to the use for which they were originally intended. If it was a serious problem with the files (e.g. all were off-sync) it would be a different story, but at the end of the day we all know who the authors of these files are and where to contact them (correct if I'm wrong with this) so I don't see any reason to drag this out any longer... |
