1.open the BMSE (obvious).
2. the default theme is for beatmania, if yu want a pop'n theme go to options>select theme>default(for PMS).
3.you will see #Player on upper right, change it to 9keys, you have to put artitst name, genere, bpm, song name and level of the song.
4. click on write mode (the pencil icon)
Note: B01, is where the song will start play
bpm is where the bpm of the song will change (slower or faster)
on the wav box is where you will put the mp3/wav, if you want to make a no keysound file put a mp3 file, then put on the grid (just do this one time then select another item on the #wav box.
i hope this quick guide will help you out
, ah ,just one more thing,
the mp3 file must be inside of the BMSE folder and ust have the same name that is on the #wav box.
