Malicious ratings shouldn't even be added to the total score. I want to say we average the middle 50% of the score and that is the total score. That way if you get all 9's and 10's and then some one gives it a 1, that 1 won't hurt your score.
At least in theory that's how it should work but I made that code a long time ago and haven't touched it since then.
