I'd say just downgrade the video quality until it fits. Most people won't even care, I guarantee it. If I can fit Re-sublimity's 3:38 video into 10MB and still have it decent quality then it shouldn't be too much of a problem for a shorter file :P

I don't want to pay the $10 not because I can't afford it, but because I feel that contributing quality simfiles to Bemanistyle is contribution enough without also having to pay to contribute to the site. It's the principle of the thing.

I know you could also consider hosting people's simfiles to be a service in itself, but I think the simfile database also serves to attract people to the site, especially when people contribute quality files to it.

I can understand that in a situation like this each side feels like they're the ones providing the other side a service, so I might just have to agree to disagree. I just feel it's not fair that the ones contributing should also be the ones who have to pay when the majority of the bandwidth by far is used up by people who only download and don't contribute.
