I think you should all go by the "go for it and hope it works" theory

go there

make friends with someone

ask to crash at hotel

I'm sure most people, realizing the behvaiors/wallets of most bemani people, will be like "oh yeah sure"

I mean, if someone were to ask me for a place to stay and we had room, I would try to make some sort of deal with them. Like, buy everyone breakfast the next morning. Or do something memorable. Or just be generally good company.

Anything like this, I feel, is good compensation. If you are a funny person and make everyone laugh the whole night and create good memories, I think most people will be willing to let money issues slide (unless they are also pretty strapped for cash).

basically, be a cool person to hang out with/talk to if you want to be a successful mooch.
