Do you think AI will ever get a new bemani distributor? Pop'n Fever and V3 are really on my "I HAVE TO PLAY" list, and I can't afford to venture out to TGA.
Again, If it is I'm not aware of the taboo, and I guess Carnival will be just as awesome :3
-TTR | Ken and I talked a bit about it last night. V3 is something he's seriously looking into, since out of the bemani games that still receive updates, DM is the most played, and GF sessioning is just as popular. We're both looking for someone new he can go through, but Konami has a pretty crazy policy on all of the upgrades (it's too much to really explain here, but basically, distributors can sell out of japan if they want to, but there's a 1 and 5 chance that konami will go to them to check and see if the kits were installed at local arcades or not. And if all kits aren't accounted for, they get blacklisted.)
So as of now, we're always gonna be 1 behind the newest version of the game. But if I can get this Pop'n 13 HDD working, we shouldn't have any problems upgrading sooner in the future. As for Supernova, if anyone is interested, Ken ordered both a whole new machine and an Upgrade kit. Both were delayed until mid july, but by the end of the summer, AI will have 2 functioning DDR Supernova machines. |
