Requesting a return/explanation of a video removal I don't frequent Bemanistyle, but I do occasionally upload videos. The most recent trio was a set of .25x songs on Stepmania, played on a Cobalt Flux using timing windows that were slightly stricter than Extreme AC. Now, it doesn't bother me so much that they were removed (although I've been reading and it says that Stepmania videos ARE allowed, especially if they are padded like mine were). I guess what bugged me more was that no one bothered to send me a message telling me that they were removed and why.
I should point out that these videos weren't Tatsujins. They very rarely showed me. The reason for this is simple: I don't like recording myself. But the section is for Tatsujin OR gameplay videos. The three I uploaded were gameplay videos (focused mostly on the screen).
I also posted and had witnesses as to the timing windows I used. Spork can tell you that I not a liar about what I can and can't do, and a player named Kilroy (don't know if he goes to this site) was there in person for the first video. All of the vids were done with the timing windows slightly shrunk from Extreme arcade.
And finally, while none of the videos were AAAs (that wasn't the point), one was an SDG, and none of them were missing more than 15 DP. On quarter speed, I think that's impressive.
I guess I'd just like to know the grounds for deletion. Partially so I know what is and isn't considered acceptable here, and partially so I can defend the videos I uploaded. Ask me to prove myself if you have your doubts. But it bothers me that I didn't get so much as a single word as to the reason for the deletion. How am I supposed to defend my work if I don't know it's being attacked?
Thanks for lending me an ear.
