I don't really see it being THAT unreasonable, but then again, not many people use groove radar statistics as a very accurate measuerments of simfile difficulty. Also, like Patashu said, lots of keyboard authors write simfiles that exceed the normal measurements of the groove radar system.
I guess it could work if it were to be implemented for pad simfiles only.
