My comments on ANOTHER SENSE:
星をこの手に(Long Version): I wasn't too thrilled with the GOLD version, but the little extra things in this version made it decent for me. There's room for it to grow on me as well.
D.A.N.C.E!(ANOTHER SENSE EDITION): Of the (I believe) six versions of this song, I would say that this is my favorite of them all. It reminds me of Bad Routine in places. By the way, the TOMOSUKE and Yasuhiro Abe versions didn't sound remotely like Love Bug either.
月光(ANOTHER SENSE EDITION): I still prefer the original, but this is a beautiful song. It seems appropriate to listen to when you're up late at night alone or with a loved one under the moonlight. Then again, maybe I like it because I'm getting old, much the same reason why I like cosmos. And actually, it's the same speed as the original version; I guess it just fools people without the presence of high speed euro-type sounds.
INFERNO(ANOTHER SENSE EDITION): I actually liked this version more than the original. There's something fresh and cool about it. Not much else to say I suppose.
太陽～T・A・I・Y・O～(ANOTHER SENSE EDITION): I'm actually not surprised that this didn't exceed my opinions on the original (album version), but that's because the original is one of my favorite Bemani songs ever. I think this version's pretty good, but I think it actually could have been better. Also, I don't know why, but that guitar didn't seem like Naoki to me. |
