SO FAR:

Nationals WILL BE in Chicago.

Nationals will most likely be a 2-day event

Friday the 28th (in talks with some small sites)
Tournament for non-reps and non-club members
Prizes: PIU Merch + other $$ and TBA Prizes
I am in talks with some small sites for this and it may be held at an arcade.

Saturday the 29th
Official Tournament for PIU club representatives
TBA:Venue & Prize money for 2nd and 3rd

Most performers have been confirmed for the event.

The full performance roster will be released when everything is finalized. Plus if everything goes according to plan with one or two artists, you all will be pleasantly surprised.

NC people who will be flying, you're at an advantage. CLT is cheap flying into Chicago as compared to others. Louisiana people..well..if you're flying, shop around because I know its a bit pricey. Everyone else, fares are pretty reasonable just make sure to shop around.

If you would like to keep an eye on fares, Chicago has 2 airports
O'Hare(2nd busiest airport in the world) and Midway.

Airport Codes for the airports are:
O'Hare - ORD
Midway - MDW

Each is on an opposite side of town, but dont frett if you're not driving, CTA (Chicago Transit Authority) can take you virtually anywhere in the city you need to go. CTA is $2 a ride with a 25¢ transfer on your 2nd ride, 3rd ride is free (if its within 2 hours).
