Planning is underway yet again for this semester's ScorchCon at Minnesota State University Moorhead, and I will be running another beginner's level DDR tournament and a Guitar Hero tournament for those interested. The details at this point are still sketchy, but here's what I can tell you so far:

Style: Double Elimination
Scoring: Modified Dance Points
Perfect = 2 points
Great = 1 point
O.K. = 3 points
Difficulties: Light/Basic and Standard/Difficult
Modifiers: Speed, Boost or Solo, but only one at a time.
Prizes: To be determined

Guitar Hero Tournament
Version: Guitar Hero III (PS2 or Wii)
Style: Double Elimination
Scoring: Point Score
Difficulties: Medium (first half of tournament) and Hard (second half)
Prizes: To be determined
