Ah sorry I was probably a bit vague above.

I didn't think that the actual Taiko arcade machines were to be found anywhere but Japan, owing to the fact that it's inherently Japanese, the whole taiko drum aspect, and that most of the songs are japanese/jpop/japanese commercials etc

So I wasn't sure if it gets ported over to other countries like the US due to the fact that localising it isn't quite as easy as localising something like a racing game, where you need only change the text. Localising a taiko machine would mean choosing different songs, making new song charts, unless they simply brought over the import machine as is.

I haven't been very many places but the only place that I'd seen/heard about the actual arcade machines for taiko was in Japan. But it seems there's a number of people from the US talking about the arcade machines, and new songs etc, so I wasn't sure if it was just a keen interest in tracking what was going to be on the new machines, or if there were some number of taiko machines in the US.

Living in Australia, and specifically Western Australia the number of arcades is pretty paltry, and the selection of machines (is woeful, and) usually just reduced to ticket machines and older arcade machines (think Raiden 1,2 & Aliens arcade shooter), not really catering for music games beyond the odd DDR machine. I didn't expect there to be any taiko machines here, but if they're in the US and many other countries then I guess there's always a chance that there'll be one around here somewhere, so I was just curious if they'd seen releases anywhere barring Japan.

I'm thinking I'll probably have to keep on with my home versions though.
