While it doesn't make sense why it's "V", they just called it that so people wouldn't be confused in the whole linking-the-machines-together (since GF is 1 mix older than DM, like how 11th would link w/ 10th, & GF 10th would link w/ 9th, NOT 10th). GF/DM V came out in 2005, but the originals came out in 1999, which would be 6 years, BUT the PS2 version of DM came out in 2000 (almost 5 years before V, by 1 month) & the 3rd/2nd Mix also came out in 2000, so maybe that's it... |
