Not all do, but a lot of players from Latin America valued no-bar play because for a LONG TIME only no-bar was allowed in tournaments. Every player in tournaments has practiced and worked hard to do well with no-bar, and they feel shafted because the hard work and practice will go out the window with the bar rule (that is, people who didn't practice no-bar are fine while people who practiced no-bar just wasted their time). Although I'm neutral on it, I totally understand why many PIU top-tier tournament players are kind of miffed over the whole thing, since they practiced their butts off for no-bar for a long time.
