i can understand that feeling, but i again liken it to speed mods in ddr. when ddrmax came out there was a LARGE group of the "hardcore" audience that refused to touch them because they felt that all the work they'd done learning the game on 1x would be meaningless. i can remember even as recently as 2 years ago that there was a 1x no-bar tournament around here somewhere.

i'm not trying to be insulting or anything, i view it as being just kind of a progression of the game. as stuff gets harder, fewer and fewer people are going to be able to (or even bother to try) doing things no bar
