The majority of the time I play troopers i'll be playing older songs. Same shit except for the timing being more difficult. At least i'd feel more accomplished of my AAA's.
And yes, Ken does like us. He fixes the machines on the spot whenever something is malfunctioning incorrectly; unlike most arcades who don't maintain their machines. He's a chill dude. I know he works hard just for the regulars to stay. But yeah if AI is getting so boring, try playing something else. You'll appreciate it more. |
agreed. regardless of whether iidx is troopers or gold, the regulars will keep coming. i've seen the same people that come play troopers (except for the first 2 weeks) come play gold. i think the only problem with gold now is that it's 2 tokens and it doesn't make enough money for ken. i'd say 3 tokens are still okay, i know ken pretty much did it for all of us so we'd be more encouraged to play, but i think 3 tokens are just fine.
to be honest i was initially shocked at troopers disappearing, and thought the difference in timing would affect me a lot, but that hasn't been the case since i started playing again.
i say if troopers can't be fixed, we can probably stay with gold for a while until whenever. happy sky cs was out but people still came to play happy sky at AI back in the day. this should save ken from spending too much additional $$ to get troopers back... also pop'n probably needs MOAR PLAY -- i've been contributing quite a bit! NIENTE IS FUCKING IMPOSSIBLE
