Thanks for all the input. I'm still debating though, because its cheap(and obviously we all know why) and the seller is giving me a deal on shipping. I HAVE played on a "namco" ITG2 machine and can honestly say it wasn't that bad, but I might have just been lucky. There wasn't lag, but the sensors were horrible.

I would build my own machine, but I honestly don't have the time/skills to do it.

Would I still have lag issues even if I fully replaced all of the sensors? I definitely wouldn't be keeping the playstation in the machine; I would be putting converting it to a stepmania machine. I talked to the seller and he said that the Jamma connector is still inside. Again, though, I really don't know how they connect a ps2 to a jamma connector.

Cosmetics really don't make a difference to me, (such as the ghetto lights at the top, but I would replace the generic panels) I care more about whether or not the pads will be playable (with work obviously).

One more question: Is the machine/pads actually different or did namco just make some ghetto mods to them? (the lights, bad sensons, the different buttons, the stickers, the panels). I know that my local (kind of) namco arcade replaced a 3rd mix's lights, buttons, sensors, and panels with crappy ones juts like the ones in the picture. The machine still worked, however.

Again guys, thanks.
