If they're used right, they can be worth the time. If they're just there to make the chart 'hard' or whatever then they aren't.
Makes me wonder if anyone's ever tried 'hand rolling' (example, jump freeze and then put one or two rolls in on other unused steps for drumrolling hands) for something like drum rolls in a song for their own chart and made it work right. |
