 Overkill unlockables
Ok, now i'm really really wondering...
whats the point in games giving you something for completeing the last challenge in them? I could understand if it was something you could use next playthrough, but...generally it's not. It's usually something thats really powerful or something like that but you really have absolutely no reason to use it, because your done with that playthrough.
the biggest example I can think of is what you get in Star Ocean: Till the end of time for beating Freya. I know you can fight her over and over again, but why would they give you sophia's best weapon for winning the hardest fight in the game? Shouldn't you had gotten that before the fight somehow?
