 Change Thread Name Inquiery
Would it be possible to change the name of this thread from 'New England' to 'Northeast' or 'North Atlantic'? Because 'New England' is one small area in Massachusettes, not the actual designation of the area most of the people are from. Also, Being from New York, (not a Yankee fan though) Most New Yorker's would find it an insult for out fourm to be named as a territory near Boston. And I personally love the Red Sox, but i think the name should be changed to prevent controversy. and if it does not change, then I think we will have many fueds about starting new Threads for New York, Pennsylvania, and soon enough smaller portions of areas, like Long Island, Staten Island, and to go as little as towns like Pawtucket....etc. so to further prevent this, My sugesstion is to rename this sub-forum 'Northeast' or 'North Atlantic'. any others feel the same??? |
