As much as I like Bemani, I don't see Guitar Revolution selling as well as Guitar Hero and especially not as well as Guitar Hero II.

Unfortunaetly, i have to agree with you. Americans are a stubborn bunch, ESPECIALLY the crappy mainstream video game media (cough cough G4 Xplay AttackoftheShow various gaming websites), and they're all gonna pile on a potential GF release as too hard, a "ripoff" (ugh, it's like a knife to the heart, knowing the truth and unable to do anything about- I wish i had a cable video game review show), and the interface is subpar. Not to mention the music, which I myself prefer J-Rock over all the antiquated rock song covers they got in GH. (when 90 percent of the songs in there are older than me, and having grown up on DDR and pop'n msic, well, I'm not really their target audience, am i?)

I have GH. I enjoy it very much. My girlfriend loves it. But i know the originator. I know who got this whole music-sim bizness going. And i will always be indebted to Konami for the quality of products they've released. But this looks like one war they're not going to succeed, because this time the other side has some really serious ammo and brain dead allies with mucho clout and influence in the industry...
