go get cakwalk's rapture
6 individual oscillators (free running) with 3, 6, and 9, multi voice settings each for an effective 56 voice output. with single eq'ing, filter chain, and filter banks for each of the 6 osc's and 2 global filter banks you can get a rediculous amount of fidelity out of this. add wavetabling to that and you have a beast for pads. the presets it comes with are pretty ehh so I would not suggest this to someone who isn't accustomed to getting heir hands dirty. also it seems more focused towards high end sound but you can still get fat bass out of it if you tweak it right. my favorite =) |
