It's as simple as going against something they want - that simple. To bend to public's will is not a necessity. Sure that may make you esoteric but that doesn't mean that what you make is crap when it sure as hell isn't.
I suffer from it too; I'd rather do my own thing and sim songs no one's ever heard of and whatnot than sim animé song after animé song. Not the same as graphic content in this but the idea is the same. |
