I would think the Ion kit coming out for RB2 is probably the best bet within your price range. Assuming its pads can be configured for each to be unique, there's enough to play DM.
Ion stuff is not that great, but none of the better options (DJ DAO or a DTX kit) are within your price range, and they wouldn't work with RB anyway.
Edit: I *think* you could use the Ion kit to play DrumMania CS official, as the word is they'll be selling an add-on module to turn it into a 'real drum kit', which would presumably include a MIDI module, which is what you'd need. But even if not, you could play DTXMania, which will work with any generic USB controller, as the basic mode of the RB2 kit must be. |
