do you mean your headphones are listenable but making the static sound when the volume is all the way up? because if that was the case then most likely there is another volume slider youre missing that needs to be cranked (static is usually only audible when master volume is turned way up and the source sound is low)
Remember that your audio drivers will have a slider for master volume and sliders for other various odd things, like wave sounds. make sure every one of those arent low.
Otherwise, try plugging your speakers into an ipod or something else that can produce sound. If they work there, the computer is the problem. |
