If you're looking for better sounds, I'd skip the hardware synth and pick up reFX Vanguard or NI Massive instead. reFX Juno also holds it own. They pump out a lot of comparable sounds for a fraction of the price and take up zero physical space.
If you're into a hardware feel and some unique sounds and manipulation opportunities, then go ahead and nab one of the synthesizers mentioned above. The Virus TI comes highly recommended from me - though it's a bit pricey. |
