Tell me again why Ryuichi Sakamoto didn't do this better?

1 Be talented
2 Win grammys academy awards and golden globes

Not to say that asian artists don't need more exposure, they do, but I also seem to recall Pizzicato Five and CORNELIUS did/are doing fine and are pretty highly respected. It's not a language barrier, I don't see this as revolutionary or anything.
