I think it's possible (if you can break through security).

Though personally IMHO

I'd like to retain the beauty and essence of DDR X as it is.

P.S.

In the past though, there were many people that mentioned that modern BEMANI PC hardware (since 2007) uses the Taito Type X2 hardware system.

You know what, if you ask me, those guys have a point.

I say this because every time I see our BM IIDX GOLD machine boot-up, it would first initiate a loader program by Phoenix Technologies

And surprisingly, that is also the same loader program that Battle Gear 4 Tuned Pro uses (and as you know BG4 is a game from Taito).

Now I can't personally confirm this myself as I'm no hardware guy (you'd have to ask someone like "Ho-man" for that........but he is on the DDR Freak forum boards.)

However, the hunch remains that it could indeed be using fragments from the Taito Type X2 hardware system (it's just that both companies use their respective bootup sequences)
