The whole idea is just don't try to be a bigshot. Even IF you are always right, and the rest of the world is always wrong, its not much of an endorsement of your "greater intellect" if all you do is put people down.

Not that I care the slightest but if you want to avoid being a troll: Stop calling people names or labeling them with uninsightful personal remarks like "you are dumb." Even if you are just joking, people will assume the worst, especially since we can't detect sarcasm. In your eyes, the mod's aren't always right but don't use that as an excuse to argue back.

Let the dead R.I.P. and that goes for the same with old posts. Old posts have their morbid humor exhausted and its pertinence to us resembles a rotting moldy corpse when brought up again.

Don't start topics/polls that end up in flame wars. Ex. global warming, macs or pcs, god or allah, genesis or big bang, to taze or not to taze..... etc etc etc

Just pay attention to how other people post and perhaps you just might learn a thing or two on how to be a respected (albeit meaningless) person on this community.

Well that's just my opinion. Use your best judgement.
