After alot of research and talking to people, opening a "bemani" type arcade here wouldn't be proffitable at all. Like most arcades, I know I'll need redemption games, and the average racing sims and what-not. I'm not looking for advice on that. I already have that area covered. What i need help with is the bemani part.

Other than like the coinexpress site and ebay, where the hell would I get these machines? The local arade here goes to auctions, but other than asking him about them, i wouldn't even know where to find out about said auctions? I plan on doing this arcade in about 2 years, so i wanted to start now, buying machines here and there, a little at a time.

Has anyone else here done this type of venture? Any adivce would be amazing
Hmm.....

I'm not sure if this question should even be asked on this forum section but............I'll see if I can help on this.

So here it goes then.

Aside from the usual sources (coinopexpress, ebay, zax australia, and yahoo japan auctions), there is one source that I highly recommend: HIT STYLE LIMITED

I mention this because they are the SOLE official distributor of Konami products in the China SAR territories (which simply means Hong Kong and Macau). They are the sole provider of Konami products (as well as a licensed sales channel for Sega, Namco and Taito games........as well as Sanwa arcade parts hehe).

Heck, they even run their own game center/video arcade (Virtual Zone @ Telford Plaza II in Kowloon Bay, Kowloon, Hong Kong) and they have the latest games including the up-to-date BEMANI games with e-amusement network connected. The establishment was also the one that hosted the Asia Regional Qualifier Event for the BEMANI Top Ranker 2008 tournament so it really shows that Konami really supports Hit Style Limited.

So I highly suggest that you inquire from Hit Style Limited for the following reasons:
1) They are an official sales channel for Konami products (in fact the SOLE distributor and service provider for Konami in Hong Kong)
2) Service and support directly from Konami Asia headquarters (which is also based in Kowloon, Hong Kong)
3) Hong Kong has cheaper taxes & shipping fees compared to Japan

So if I were you, I'd say that you should give Hit Style Limited an e-mail
