It's not that simple at all. They're clearly trying to leave a large enough difference between the song lists of NX2 and NXA to where arcades with NX2 will still make money and not be obsoleted by NXA. That as well as the fact that they are saving money on renewing licenses (or not able to renew some at all in the first place). The massive amount of dropped licenses is due to money. As for shit like Beethoven Virus, they don't pay a penny to use it. It's a fan favorite and costs them nothing. Songs like this will continue to bring people to the arcade no matter how old they are. Therefore, it's worth it to keep old ass songs like that in the game for good. |
